Sunitra Martinelli is a Eurasian singer-songwriter based in Adelaide, South Australia. Her sophisticated, soothing vocals and multilingual lyrics draw influences from Sade, Pink Martini and James Bond soundtracks.
Currently applying the final touches to her sumptuous, debut music video and single, "Nasty". An exotic visual feast, the perfect backdrop to her entrancing, bilingual lyrics.
Sunitra began songwriting in 2015 and formed live music act “Mélange à Trois" 2 years later, performing a sultry blend of French covers and her original music.
Evoking “Ooh La Laas” at Adelaide’s finest French soirées, including the Art Gallery of South Australia’s “Colours of Impressionism” & “Vollard Suite” exhibitions, Sunitra’s fusion of smooth jazz/pop with vibrant world beats resonate with well-travelled, adult-contemporary audiences.
